To subscribe to the whole Summer CSA, email Gene & Victoria directly at greensgene@gmail.com and let us know what you would like sign up for. We’ll answer any questions and provide your delivery day (Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning), and give payment options (Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle preferred).

There are two choices for the season, “Your Choice” and “Gene’s Choice.”

Gene’s Choice for $490: Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly! This is our most economical option at $56 off the price to jump in weekly, and one of the best ways to directly support the farm. Designed more like a traditional CSA, we’ll select the very best and most abundant crops each week and build a well-balanced box around what’s thriving in the fields.

A typical summer share is overflowing with the season’s most coveted fruits and vegetables. Expect sun-ripened peaches, nectarines, blueberries, blackberries, and fragrant cantaloupe alongside peak-season sweet corn, colorful heirloom tomatoes, rainbow peppers, crisp cucumbers, tender squash, and vibrant greens. Fresh from the soil, you’ll also find carrots, potatoes, leeks, sweet candy onions, and beets harvested at their finest. With the incredible variety we grow, every box brings something new to discover while still keeping your favorite summer staples close at hand.

We’ll always let you know ahead of time what’s coming so you can plan your meals with ease. It’s a perfect fit for busy families since there’s no ordering required. Your weekly harvest simply arrives, fresh from our fields to your doorstep.

Your Choice for $510: Still a great value, almost like getting a box free over the course of the season. This option is priced a bit higher because offering such a large, customizable list each week comes with additional costs on our end.

Every Monday, you’ll receive a fresh list of available produce, and we’ll just need your selections by the end of the day Tuesday. It’s flexible, convenient, and designed to fit your schedule.

Add-ons for Subscribers: For signing up for the whole Summer, we offer a discount on bread, eggs, baked goods, and honey! Here’s a breakdown of each:

Pasture-Raised Eggs $100: The freshest eggs right from our back yard! You’ll often receive olive and blue eggs in the mix, and the yolks don’t lie, they’ll be dark orange from all of the plants our hens eat while free-roaming. Our eggs are usually around $9 a dozen, but with this subscription you’ll receive them for under $8 each week. Need to skip a week? We can double up at any time during the summer.

Choice of Bread from Victoria’s Bake Shop or The Breadery $100: Victoria has been turning out beautiful crusty loaves and experimenting with even more sourdough recipes this season. You can choose bread, biscuits, bagels, pizza doughs, and more! You can also choose bread from The Breadery, known for some of the best artisan loaves around. Either way, you’ll enjoy high-quality, handcrafted bread to pair perfectly with your weekly harvest. The Breadery loaves may not be available some weeks. 

Weekly Bake Shop Goodies $75: Sweet treats for less than $6 a week! Think pies, cookies, cakes, pastries, and other fresh-baked favorites made right here in our farm kitchen. Tell us your likes, dislikes, and especially your favorite dessert, and Victoria will bake with you in mind. Each week, we’ll share a short list of available goodies to choose from so you can look forward to a little something special alongside your harvest.

Honey Harvest $75: We’ll have the best of the best fresh Spring harvest and the new lanternfly harvest later in the season. Never heated (raw), this honey retains its natural enzymes, pollen, and rich flavor straight from the hive. You’ll receive one pint (1.5 lbs.) each month, four pints total.

Donation Box Subscription $195: Growing food for our community, especially for neighbors facing food insecurity, is a core part of our mission at Gene’s Greens. With a Donation Box Subscription, you can help cover the cost of sending a large, fresh box of produce to local families in need for just $15 per week.

For every donation subscription purchased, more of our harvest goes directly to area food banks and community partners serving your local community. It’s a simple, meaningful way to make a real impact with healthy, locally grown food.

All of the add-ons listed above can be paired with a Donation Box Subscription. So if you’d like to receive eggs, bread, honey, or bake shop goods for yourself, but don’t need a weekly produce box, you can absolutely do that while still sponsoring fresh food for someone else. 

Summer Flower Subscription $280: Spots are limited for our amazing selection of Summer blooms. Each week you’ll receive a massive bouquet, which you can keep in one large vase, or split into many smaller vessels. These bouquets are so fresh that many flowers will last more than a week, filling your home with sweet scent and beauty. When finished, hang up choice blooms to dry for color all winter long! The add-ons (eggs, bread, honey, and bake shop) can be added to this subscription as well.

Summer Special $100: Add something extra special to your Summer with a monthly farm feature from us at Gene’s Greens. Each month, you’ll receive a thoughtfully crafted seasonal treat or field find, perfect for celebrating the beauty (and flavor) of summer.

June: Garlic Scape pesto with a sourdough baguette.

July: 9” Berry Pie of your choice: Blackberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Blueberry, Mixed Berry

August: Huge Watermelon, these sangria melons are seeded and as large as a blimp

September: 8” Apple Honey Cake
